There were issues, enough that I postponed the deadline by two days and cornerofmadness had to post a rough and incomplete opening until such time as she could make it back to where she had a complete copy, but we did eventually finish.

Looking back on the year just past, I had to face something which had been gradually becoming apparent for some time. I don’t have the fire for writing that I used to.

As with so many others on my friends list, I found my Photobucket account throwing up an ugly “you need to upgrade” graphic in place of all the images - mostly story covers and award graphics - for which I created my PB account in the first place. Last year I set myself to do a dozen stories - I listed them, with abbreviations for the titles - and wound up coming not even close to finishing. This year I was going to finish that out.
