So... r/weddingdress again. Ohh boy... I seriously can't with this. So this lady just posted that she's having dress regret. That's perfectly normal from what I've seen on that Reddit page, but the twist is she's regretting it two weeks AFTER her wedding!?!?!?!
Uuuuuuhhhhhhhhhh....????
You are aware that's super late to regret your dress choice right? And you are aware that there is literally nothing that can be done about it right?
...
???
This is so strange.
But let's look at this situation. The best time to have a regret about a wedding dress is a day or two after purchasing it. Hopefully in that 24 to 48 hours the dress store hasn't put in the order for it and you can easily exchange it for something you like better.
The next, not as optimal, but still not terrible time to have dress regret is when it first arrives at the shop and you try it on for the 1st fitting for alterations. You'll most likely lose money and it may be problematic to order a new dress but you still have some time to change it.
The next and very least optimal time to take issue with your wedding dress is during the final fitting. By that point, you should be pretty close to the wedding day and if you picked something new now, it's going to have to be off the rack and cost a fortune to alter with such notice.
The absolute least optimal time for dress regret is two weeks after the wedding?! There's literally nothing anyone can do for you. The book has been closed at that point. In fact that book has been checked out of the library, taken home, read, taken back to the library, and someone new is checking the book out!
Her wedding is over and it may not have been as photogenic as you thought, but there is literally nothing that anyone can do about now.
Oh God... I just read some of the comments and people are telling her the dress is beautiful and it is, but someone pointed out her husband didn't have on socks and when I looked I saw it.
Ooooh! Damn that person's eyes for noticing that because y'all know that has been a massive pet peeve of mine since I was a child. I mean a really small child. I remember at like 2 or 3 telling my dad not wearing socks with shoes is tacky. I meant that shit then and I will definitely die on that hill now!
What the fuck!?!?!?!
reddit adventures,
are you f-ing serious?!,
really?!,
come on now?!,
get wit me
