My Backrooms Theory

Jun 03, 2022 10:49

Ok so a little while ago I fell down the Backrooms rabbit hole, because some kid named Kane Pixels made a really amazing series about it. Kane is a teenager (16 years old) and his powers of creativity are amazing. Fast forward a bit and I find out his series is based on The Backrooms creepy-pasta which has an extensive lore. The Backrooms has multiple levels and sub-levels, crazy characters, scary entities... It is wild!

Hopefully you checked out the links because it's theory time.

So because some levels are unsafe and don't follow an earth day/ night cycle, have scary things/ creatures in them and the fact that you accidentally fall into/ "no-clip" into The Backrooms and generally can't leave The Backrooms, it is believed The Backrooms are what happens after you die, but my theory is, The Backrooms may be what happens before you are born.

Hear me out. So in spirituality it is said that you choose your life and God has to approve it before you are sent to earth. So maybe The Backrooms are a representation of the trials and triumphs you'll have throughout your life. That would make sense why the day night cycles and physics on some levels are all weird. Why some levels are representations of the past, mimicking things you saw/ experienced in your past lives, and the reason why some entities are scarier than others; meaning that they are representations of past fears/ traumas and they take on a physical manifestation in The Backrooms. It's also the reason why you can "No-clip" in and out of levels, you have no real physical body and aren't bound to earth laws of gravity or physics.

I'm sure I'm probably wrong, but it is an interesting idea. If I didn't feel so shy about posting this on a Backrooms community I would post it there but I don't so here it is.

the backrooms, what?!, bwuh
