Well I haven't written a single journal on LJ in quite a while. I guess I only write when I'm emotional, though I've tried to make it a consistent thing. WEll... time to try again.

School sucks, it's pointless. With my spare time, I've been trying to teach myself to draw . The picture below is of Kiera Knightley- my best attempt so far and my first fully completed charcoal drawing. At the moment I'm working on one of Angelina Jolie.

This past month has been quite weird. I feel pretty empty and alone. To try and get past that I feel like I need a challenge. I need something that really gets my mind working. I think I've resorted to books for that. Right now I'm reading The Tale of the Body Theif by Anne Rice. It's a great book. I have read other books from the series, but this book really questions theories of evolution, God/Devil's existance, and so much more. It's a fictional book, but the way it's written, it really stirs up my mind. The thoughts from this book have to come from somewhere don't they? At the moment I have about 50 pages left to go in the book- I'll probably finish it within the next half an hour that I'll spend reading. Maybe I'll spend it for my hour commute to school tomorrow.

I really need to develop a reading list of similar books. Any suggestions?
