tonight i took three kiddies to volunteer at blue man group (read: see the show for free). it was pretty sweet, even though i accidentally got us sort of lost on the way there. i was able to keep my cool and one of the girls even remarked that i really knew what i was doing, so i guess i fooled them. but we got there on time and the show was excellent. it was even more excellent when one of the girls got to seat the other trip coming from columbia - the one where each student paid $74. ohhhh shoot.
when we got there, we had to sit in the lobby for a few minutes, and this guy waiting to see the show sauntered over to us. he said that he was seventeen and asked us all how old we were. the girls were sufficiently freaked out and told him their names when he asked, but wouldn't say how old they were. he asked me, and i told him that i was thirty and my name was candace. andddd he bought it.
i guess i should be preparing for my mid-life crisis right now.
