No Subject will Suffice.

People walk around with umbrellas like they're scared of something God has made.

This Thursday night we play music in front of people sitting in a coffee shop and I am excited.

The first semester of my college career is officially over.  This is a bit frightening.  Three and a half years before I have to get a real life, or something.  And the fact that I just typed that is proof that I'm not ready.

I have Laguna Beach on right now (a reality series about pretty white kid drama), and Rilo Kiley is DEFINITELY playing in the background.  Way to go, Jenny.  Oh, well.  I'll just get a shirt  or something.

Anyway, about real life.

1.  College is sort of real life because you find out how your personal choices affect others.  Instead of how the choices you parents make FOR YOU affect others.  EXAMPLE:  When you don't sleep or eat right or study or go to class and you feel like crap, you might take it out on the people you care about and THAT is not a good thing.

2.  You have to learn to say NO.  Not to drugs or sex.  I mean, that too, but also to people.  EXAMPLE:  Don't let him sit by you if you need to study.  Don't go to the show if you're tired.  Don't loan her money because you'll never get it back.  Don't drink the free coffee.

3.  I just decided I'm too tired right now to finish this.
