Republicans Are Blocking the Violence Against Women Act
Four of the main issues I'm fairly well educated in - Native American rights, Women's rights, LGBTQ rights, and immigration rights are all rolled into a clusterfuck of fail because rich white cis men care more about the fact that Native Americans may get some power to protect their own (SO HORRIBLE AMIRITE) than the fact that at least a fourth of all US women are victims of domestic violence.
Or
These same rich white cis dudes hate the idea that women might become protect from male violence that they're taking some hot button issues and making it look like The! World! Will! Come! To! An! End! if people of color/queer people have access to resources to fight against their oppression
