1) I AM SLEEPY. AND IT IS COLD. But the bright news is that I actually am understanding some object-oriented PHP. Because this book actually explains it omg. I have also started the new google chrome and I am liking it so far. FIREFOX BB YOU SAVED ME FROM IE AND FOR THAT I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU BUT VERSION THREE HAS NOT BEEN SO GOOD.
Also can anyone rec some web hosting sites? I heart monster.com but I really want to keep my fandom/professional life separate. IGNORE THE PART WHERE I SAID THIS PUBLICALLY LOLS. But still rec me plz.
2) I am thinking of doing NaNoWriMo I would have done what I tried to do last year (FINAL FANTASY!X I STILL LOVE YOU DEARLY) or um punk rock!SakuSasu fic BUT MY DAD STILL HASN'T GOTTEN MY LAPTOP BACK AND THIS ANNOYS ME DAILY. But I could always expand upon post-apocalyptic BtVS/Angel fic - though I really hadn't planned for it to be anywhere near 50,000 words. AND YOU KNOW MY BELOVED AANG'S MOTORCYCLE GANG THAT I DIDN'T GET TO THIS SUMMER BECAUSE OF MY OBSESSION WITH ANGEL. And cyber!punk!Tokyo Babylon. I really want to do the BtvS/AtS one the mostest and it would probably be good to focus on like... setting and details to and all those things I'm not great at that would help with the tone of the fic.
AND OF COURSE BUFFY: QUEEN OF THE PIRATES FIC! But I've acutally already started that so ah... And I have started the final fantasy!x and aan'g motorcycle gang and punk rock!sasusaku. I CAN DO IT UNOFFICALLY!
And the only thing fic-wise, I have planned in November is IWRY and that's going well. I AM PONDERING.
3) Keith's political comments: WIN WIN WIN . I really loved how he was like PALIN FOR THE LOVE OF GOD BECOME VP AND THEN MAKE A BID FOR POWER.
Rachel was also awesome. She gave her readers required reading (which I will talk about outside this cut cos it is important) which I think more smart and awesome people should do.
I enjoyed TCR more than TDS last night, but I luffed them both. They are both awesome and hilarious and there isn't much else to say.
Political rant of the day: why is everyone like OMG OBAMA IS A TERRORIST BECAUSE OF HIS MILD RELATIONSHIP WITH A WASHED UP TERRORIST. While Palin's husband who was part of a group to want Alaska to become its own separate country not talked about? I can not take claims that Palin gets more crap from the press than Obama. And Hilary did too. Palin IS suffering sexist attacks, yes, but I really think that people bitching about her spending government money on her kids is nothing like OBAMA IS A COMMIE going out there.
Oh yeah and who can forget all the rants about the money Obama has raised for his campaign. Because gee wiz it's so terrible that people are legally donating to his campaign. HOW DARE HE.
BUT MAYBE THAT'S JUST ME!
4) Everyone should read this about suppressing votes.. I'm glad its getting coverage on MSNBC and CC (true fax: many people get their news from TDS and I don't blame them). I really hope Obama is prepared to fight if the election is stole like in '00 because it's not a matter of me supporting him as much as this stuff is the thing that is tearing out democracy at its seams.
