I picked a party to go to, I had 3 costume possibilities (pirate, gypsy, night fairy). Everyone is tending toward me doing the Night Fairy I made for Fairy Fest in August that got rained out. I bought the final pieces, have to do a makeup trial run and it's all set. Of course, there's a lot more to it than the basics here.

Only did one reading Friday night. An 8-year-old girl. Must have past lives. She was very articulate, asked very pertinant questions and amazed me more than once with her thought process. Asked her if she considered being a lawyer when she grew up. She said she had thought about it. Told her there's all kinds, not just the ones that do trials. Saw ( Read more... )

Spent a lot of time yesterday looking throught the Want-it-Now posts on eBay. Helped a few people out. One was looking for a model of the Ark of the Covenant (sent her a link), another guy was trying to find out the name of an old horror movie (googled it, found it on IMDB) and a lady who was looking for a CD catalog drive (told her about the 2 I ( Read more... )

I've found that I have a talent for doing beadwork on clothing. Been looking through my closet for other pieces to embellish but nothing is quite right. If I can't see it, I can't do it. Very proud of myself for actually FINISHING a project I started.

Spent some time concentrating on getting the bath bombs together. Most of the time designing the tag for the three different kinds. They came out very well. Think I'll have to keep them in something airtight. They're rather strong.
