(1) Sounds particularly entertaining, though (5) is giving my visions of Much Ado crossed with Losts.

Close. It's sort of meant to be Much Ado crossed with Twelfth Night crossed with Golden Age detective fiction, although it turns out that I'm not very good at coming up with plots for the latter...
