Seriously, though, I feel exceptionally uninformed about Somalia...there seem to have been 'pirate' incidents on and off over the past couple of years. It sounded bizarre at first; now it's properly worrying.
Unrelatedly, and very unexpectedly, Merlin continues to completely bowl me over. If I could somehow force y'all to watch it I would. You can watch it as a usual watcher and it's brilliant, or you can watch it as a fandom person and it can be all things to everyone. All the main characters can be paired. Any combination. It's almost like they made it for the fic possibilities.
