(no subject)
so, we're all moved in... now just the unpacking and sorting. a good portion of this is done already..
funny... I always have hated white walls, but i'm finding that i'm liking the simplicity of the white walls and carpet. it works with the black windowframes and our black furniture. nice and minimalist. I think i'm going to wait until I hang some of my artwork to decide on painting... I might end up going with a more "art gallery" feel, rather than darker walls. we'll see...
God I love Marc. he drives me nuts, and then turns around and we have a great conversation and I realize that despite his flakeyness with everyday details... there is a beautiful mind and soul under the grumpy gothy exterior. He is constantly evolving as a human being... and asking me to challenge him to grow further. I try to offer to be as challenged as him. I think it's good for me.
I had a cool meeting with some movie people today. got some good advice... i'm going to try to work with my strengths rather than try to be what I think I "should" be more.
Am getting my second credit as a Costume Designer on a film! It's called "Blue" ... and is a four day shooting schedule. Picked up samples of some of the potential costumes today....
Hoping for paying work soon.
