I have a potential new job coming in..a big one that is slightly over my head, not design-wise, but more business-wise. I have very little experience with presentations, proposals, meetings, etc..., so I've decided to see if my mom (who owns a design firm in Chicago, I work primarily with her and do freelance gigs on the side) wants to take this

you know when i do my art directing work on shoots.. i have no idea what i am doing.. and sometimes there are a ton of huge sets and the budget is over $100,000.oo.. and i have no idea what i am doing.. i just totally fake it...
and if i can pull it off .. so can you..
cause i really have no idea what i am doing...
not a clue...
i find the key is o be organized and to ask questions and then to just bullshit deluxe...
all you need is talnet and you already have that..

:) thanks for the pep talk :) I know it'll be good for me, etc, if I did it by myself, but I need to have my mom's company involved for many reasons (one being that the reason the client wants me is her company's client list and years of experience, plus they need a Chicago contact), but in the end, I will still be the one to have the most contact with the client, and will write the proposal, etc.., it'll be good and with her guidance, it'll be a success and also hopefully, a good contact to have for future work.
