(no subject)

I have a potential new job coming in..a big one that is slightly over my head, not design-wise, but more business-wise. I have very little experience with presentations, proposals, meetings, etc..., so I've decided to see if my mom (who owns a design firm in Chicago, I work primarily with her and do freelance gigs on the side) wants to take this on with me. It'll be done under the company name, and she can walk me through the business stuff that I am completely clueless about. I just don't like the idea of being thrown into a job with a company far away (the client is in Chicago as well), and having no clue what I'm doing. I want to learn, not do a trial by fire. Anyway, I'm excited/nervous and now am just waiting for her to call me back, so I can get back to this guy. He wants to talk to me about what they want on the proposal..and I'm nervous about that, too- I really don't like talking on the phone to people I don't know about subjects that I'm clueless on. That's one thing I'll be getting over on this project, for sure.
