after three grueling hours, give or take

My scores (going by the book, these are the numbers they give):
Reading: 650 to 730
Math: 470 to 530 (sooo...gonna need to work on that)
Writing (pretend I wrote an essay and had it scored, I guessed a 4 out of 6 to be fair--not too high and not too low. I did all the multiple choice, though): 700 to 800

So the lowest cumulative score I got was an 1820, and the highest was a 2060. Not too bad, but I really need to work on the math sections and making sure I read the entire question so I don't make stupid errors (that was mainly the reason I got ones wrong on reading and writing--not being thorough). I was worried that I would run out of time, so sometimes I skipped reading the whole section and read just the parts I needed to answer the questions. This was ineffective--most times I finished with 15 minutes to spare, so next time I'll do a once-through, skip questions I'm unsure about and then go back. Sometime within the next week and the next weekend I'll take the second and third practice test and try to raise my scores (there are 8 practice tests in total)--I take them on the 14th.

Bleh. And note to self: be sure to take copious amounts of painkillers beforehand--I was so stressed and bent out of shape about this (because to be honest, I've been on my own for this entire thing--not only SATs but all of college so far and for all of this process--it's just that the SATs bring out all these insecurities about that) that I got a cramp in my neck after 20 minutes and my back hurt so much I could hardly concentrate.

note to self, the time i did go to college, stress
