Finally updating about my first Versa show! I'm just going to post the pictures of when i met all the band members and what happened :)
First I met Blake and Devin outside the venue when I was in line. I asked if they were playing In Pursuing Design. They said no but they would play it acoustic after. I was like "damn that's my favorite song" hah but they seemed shocked/grateful that anyone would want to listen to them! lol everytime i talked to them after that they were like "thank you sooo much" hah
I went in and shoved to like 4th row during VE and i was like one of the only people who knew all the words. Sierra saw me going buckwild during their whole set and pointed/looked at me a lot haha She was lovingg it. Towards the end she came over to my side of the stage and jumped down and like specifically picked me out and gave me a high-five/hand grasp haha they just played amazing.
After Versa's set i went to the merch table and bought another EP for them to sign. I met Blake and Devin at that time
I gave each of the members these pull string bracelets (blake-green, devin-yellow, jerry-black, anthony- red, sierra-orange...and they picked out their colors) and Devin was like"these remind me of when i was ten i had one" haha i dont remember too much of what i talked about with each of the guys. But i just said how big of a fan i was and they played great etc. etc.
I met Jerry next:
When i gave him his bracelet he goes "you should give the red one to anthony. Well, because of his hair..." or something and i was like "i was thinking orange b/c of his hair" and he goes "haha yeah. But he's definately a red guy" lol.
I met Sierra next and talked to her for like 5 minutes?
First I told her how great the show was and she was like thank you. This outlines the convo after she signed my Ep:
Me:Can we have a picture?
Sierra: Sure! I like your scarf!!
Me: Thank you! I like your hat!
*take picture*
Sierra: ummm....i think i was eating your hair in that picture...*looks at picture*
Me: haha sexyy
Sierra:haha do you want another? one where i'm not chomping on your hair?
*we take another*
Sierra: haha in that one I look like a creep! but it's okay because i am one.
Me: haha did you see me going crazy during your set?
Sierra: YES! like if i was standing here on stage you were here*points*
Me: Yeah! it was awesome i was loving it. I was debating jumping on stage with you guys but i thought i might get kicked out....
Sierra: You totally should have!
Me: But some mom was like getting pissed at me lol
Sierra: "Fuck parents dude."
Then i like stuck my arm out b/c i had the bracelet for her
Sierra: Oh haha i thought you wanted me to like sign your arm or something!
Then she took the orange bracelet and i had to tighten it for her cuz she's so small!
lastly i met anthony
He was chill but i only talked to him for a little bit then. He was thanking me a lot for liking the band haha. then some girls like saw that he was from the band and like flocked him. He gave me a hug :) and i went to watch we the kings.
I saw all the guys a couple times after those first few times and Blake even said they'd play In pursuing Design first in the acoustic set for me! because i was going to have to leave (i drove 2 hours to the show). I passed blake after we the kings and he said after the merch rush they would play and i was like okay. But then my mom said we had to leave and i was like okay...So i went into the merch area pushed through people and talked to all four guys one last time and said sorry i couldn't stay and how bummed i was. And they were like "sorry" and "thanks" "See youagain" etc. then i go "hope you liked your bracelets!" and Jerry goes "oh, we do." haha
In the end it was a great night, met them all and got my EP signed by all. And It was awesome. hahah
