Tuesday at school... Interesting. First, we got an extra day to do our history thing, just like Soeren thought would probably happen. Lol so we got that pretty much done. Well, it was done but we figured out who would say what and stuff. And I still remember my favorite quote of that day. "Is your birthday January 8?" Haha Soeren asked Susan that because she was in the same group as us, and that's how him and I got in the same group so yea. She didn't understand what he meant. Haha it was kinda funny. Second was a spare. Third was just math. Can't really remember anything about that. I handed my bio thing in though in fourth. And fifth was typical. Well, other than the deal Donkin made that if everyone in class brought a quarter Wednesday, he'd extend the due date until Friday. Then there was curling after school.
Because there were games being played at the Hub, and neither the A or B team had a game to play, we went to the Nutana Curling Club to practice. Which was okay, but the ice was totally slippery. Way more than at the Hub! I mean, I was glad that my teammates were there by me, because I set one foot on the ice and slipped. Good thing I didn't fall though. Later in practice, Jasmine slipped and fell though. I remember, Jodi and I were looking at Jasmine with concern, of course, and Jodi was like, "Is she laughing or crying?" I'm like, "I can't tell." Then after a few seconds I'm like, "Kay. Now she's laughing." Later, since Jasmine was just sitting down and resting, I sat with her since I wasn't throwing rocks and we talked. Then after practice, Ms. Hala tried to help me up. Ended up practically dragging me along. It was pretty funny.
Wednesday was a typical day at school. Well, in first Soeren, Susan and I did our presentation. It went okay. Resource was resource. I worked on my chem lab. Math was math. Lunch was kinda strange because I thought there was a Spark meeting, but no one really showed up. So then I went to Chess for a while. Fourth was.... Just bio. Lol though I should have took the bet Mike said, but I said no to. He said, "I bet you ten bucks that not everyone in chem has a quarter today." I should have took the bet, because everyone had EXTRA quarters. Lol There was curling after school. Though, the Walter Murray team that the B team (my team) was to play didn't show up. So we used that time to practice. Lol then that night my mom, dad and I went to the German exchange meeting for maybe going on the exchange next year. Then when I got home, my wrist started really bothering me.
In history on Thursday, there was more presentations. In resource... I can't remember what I did. Lol math was just math. Bio was bio. And chem was chem. There was German Thursday night, of course. It was fun. Kristyn showed up! Yay! Lol it was pretty great. The German 20s and 30s were doing some fashion thing, and a photo shoot with it. So during Katie, me and Kristyn's break, Mr. Funk went to work with all of them. And then he was the photographer, and I think was totally into it. It was pretty amusing watching them all, because they were on the stairs and me and the girls were on the first floor. So yea, we couldn't get upstairs until they were done. Got home, my my wrist still was really bugging me.
In history on Friday, we did some essay workshop thing that we do like once a week. In resource, I worked on my chem lab. Math was math. There was Sign at lunch, which was pretty interesting. Kinda amusing too. Lol because Brad came in at like 12:25 and was like, "I have to be at Princess in 5 minutes so I can't stay." Which was funny becasuse in 5 minutes, he showed up again and was talking about needing to be at Princess soon. We were like, "Look at the time!" Haha it was funny. Bio was bio. And chem was chem. Haha then at about 8, my mom took me to the Minor Emergency to see what was up with my wrist. The doctor says there's no bone damage, but I needed to rest my wrist. And that's why I haven't updated until now. Lol Though I don't really care what the doctor says, I will be asking Dr. Dzus about it next time I see her.
Yesterday Claire came over from about 1 until 10. It was pretty awesome. I'm gonna miss her. We watched a couple of movies, and played games. We went to the store too. Lol And today... I watched TV for a lot of the day. And called Jo, and we talked for like 2 and a half hours. Lol and I'm updating now because my wrist feels better. Still not perfect, but I think that's because of not using it for the last few days.
