Thanks to the kindness of strangers who may be my neighbors for many weeks and if what they said was true, months? to come, I made my way to the apparently free room and board that I'd heard about. I half-expected to find some complex-looking structure out of Gilligan's Island but it would appear that it is just a normal building. I'm not sure I can imagine it turning into rubber like I was told, but...
I spoke with my roommate not long ago through this journal mechanism, but when I got to my room, he was gone. His name is "Kenpachi"; does he not stay in his room much, I wonder? I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to meeting him face-to-face or not. He seemed rather disappointed that I wasn't interested in brawling.
In any case, thank you again everyone who helped me out, and...I apologize to those I encountered earlier on who I didn't say much to before running off. If you want, you can come by and try saying hello again. I'm prepared now and I'll do my best to keep both feet firmly planted on the floor.
The cooks *were* cute, just like Tsuna said. I should introduce myself. In fact, a large population of the people here make me turn my head...although sometimes it's because they have extra appendages or are missing some normal ones.
Another improbable thing that happened today was the meeting of two Haruhis, although one was a guy. I can't bring myself to call the girl "Haruhi-chan", though. Her disposition does anything but match that endearing name ending. Speaking of which...
...Has anyone else been forced into that girl-Haruhi's "SOS Brigade"? Does she just drag people into it the second they arrive ashore here?
Though I still am curious about the fact that our uniforms appear to be from the same school. All these characters from places in entirely different worlds from my own, and then I find a schoolmate? What are the odds...
Oh, and... What am I supposed to do about the fact that I only have one change of clothing here? I guess since laundry is free as well, it might not be that big a problem, but I really wish I had access to more than just this uniform.
