Now then, what would *you* say in a situation like this, anyway? The first thing that comes to mind when you wake up in a forest with no recollection of how you got there or why might be "...Where is this?" or "How did I get here?" and so on. That being the case, though, both questions would be completely useless given that an answer doesn't seem to be hiding anywhere in the nearby trees and bushes.
I'm definitely all alone. I know that much. And I'm...
..."Kyon"? What a stupid-sounding nickname. If whoever gave me that nickname is out there, I'd like you to come forward so that I can give you a "try harder next time" sticker to put on your report card.
In any case, I guess I'll go look for some signs of civilization.
Perhaps this is what they call "delayed reaction after trauma". I wouldn't be surprised to finally run into my emotional breakdown once I've confirmed that where I am is somewhere far away from where I should be. Still, rather than collapse into a pile of distressed tears, I feel compelled to explore. I'll be better off once I confirm what my situation is. And I can't feel satisfied just sitting here and worrying, anyway.
((Welcome to Kyon. I hope no one minds how I roleplay him; I decided I'd try out having his internal dialogue have a narrator feel to it, just like in the canon. All italicized sentences/phrases are unhackable, unless your character can read minds, or can charismatically tell what teenage boys are really thinking about, yada yada yada. :D Anyway, I hope this isn't too confusing.))
