I have nearly finished the floor.  I ran out of Laminate and I need one more box.  So I will go to CostCo and pick up one more box and some of the awesome Grape/Cranberry Juice while I'm there.  Then I'll go to lowes and pick up the crown molding supplies ( Read more... )

I didn't think emptying out my bedroom would take so long.  I still haven't ripped up the carpet at this moment.  I need to get it done so I can take it to the dump tomorrow.  This is not going to plan.  But Hey, I can go with the flow.

I must say the air seems a lot more dust free.  And my pockets certainly feels lighter.  While they wre working they kept tripping the circuits on the house.  So when they tripped the circuit in the office...it blew my wireless router.  So I had to fix that with a new one.  Otherwise it was a pretty positive experience.

OK.  I was able to get a large chunk of what was remaining in the kitchen done.  I only have about 5 more boards to lay.  Problem is that each one needs to be cut.  I also have to take the dishwasher apart ,again, to get the one board that is already down there out to cut the lip off of.  Then Once this is done, I am seriously thinking of ripping ( Read more... )

Tonite I'm going to start back on the floors and hopefully finish them by Monday.  Along with the Wainscotting that needs to be redone.  I have to pick up the weed-eater tonite, but I'm not going to use it for a couple weeks.  I am actually looking forward to finishing them.  Then I can get on a cleaning schedule.  As well and just enjoy the inside ( Read more... )

I was able to get a large part of the kitchen done last night.  I even moved the Fridge and stove myself.  It's about 80% done.  My back is about 75% thrown out.  It is very sore and I am very tired.  I just wish I could go to bed at a decent time.  I am exhausted and sore.  And my face is puffy.
