But I know I did. No pictures. I have realized that when I take a bunch of pictures, I end up not getting as much done as I would have. I have found that when I come across something that should go in the trash... If I just throw it away, It's gone! But If I hold on to it so I can take a picture, I then have a little more time to change my mind, and sometimes I do. So I just have been throwing things out that need to go. I don't look back. Today, I actually tackled the pile of papers in the office. All my mortgage statements for the last 11 years. I know there is some others around her, but I haven't searched really hard for them. What I ended up doing was sorting through the stack all the statements by year. I then Scanned them to the computer as PDF's. And then, I shredded them. There were medical records and Benefits information. I cleaned them up by sifting out the crap... And shredded what I could.
Basically the top of the trunk is nearly cleared. I've just got my job search stuff on there. I can actually open the trunk now and plan to get in there and pull out some DVD's to sell. I'm ready to let sell the Disney Movies. I'm not the Cool Aunt I thought I would be. My niece won't come out to visit. I'm pretty much saving them for no real reason. So I might as well let them go. I am actually OK with it. I could use the money. I would like to upgrade the Mac Mini someday soon. Maybe learn how to use it for more than just an Itunes server.
Cool thing is, I have less paper. I'm actually thinking I may do the same thing with the stuff in my Tax document Storage Box. Could be interesting. I also think it's time to let my desktop go and get a port replicator. I could then use 2 monitors. I would also be able to use my laptop more. I upped the memory from 4 gigs to 16 gigs. Now I just need to up the hard drive to maybe a solid state drive with double the space. But it only takes money... which I don't have right now.
I'm still tying to figure out what I want the office to look like. Once that's decided, then the technology needs will follow. At least I hope so.
