Project: Media Room Update - Rounding third!
Rose came in about 18 hours sooner than expected. So I had to quickly change gears on a dime. I needed to get everything out of the garage and into the room. And I needed to get the lights straightened and take the T-Shirts Down. I didn't get a chance to take a picture of the room without furniture in it. But trust me when I say... It looks a whole lot better without the furniture than with it. My Furniture is shit, but it's paid for. So I will get over it - Eventually. I'm sure a nice neutral Blanket and Pillows will make the Daybed less clashy... and slip covers will make the recliners less trashy.
I still need to get the pictures on the wall and make a little Candy/Snack Nook - To go with the Movie Theater theme.
- Corners first
- Run speaker wire - rear speakers
- Run Sub woofer Cable - couldn't do --INSULATION
- Back wall Molding
- Side Wall Molding
- Run Speaker wire - Front speakers
- Run Speaker wire - Center Channel
- TEST CONNECTIONS
- Touch Up paint on Molding
- Connect the wires to a gang box
- TEST CONNECTIONS
- close up gang box
- Set up the TV / Electronics
- TEST CONNECTIONS
- Vacuum
- Bring in Furniture - 11/25
- Move Trunk from Office (coffee table) - 11/25
- Reprogram Logitech Remote
- Put up pictures
- Take Pictures
- All Molding Up
- All Speakers wired in wall
- Wall repair and painting
- TV & Electronics set up.
- Vacuumed - rugs cleaned
- Wires rolled up and twist-tied nice and neat
- Pick up banana plugs - 11/25
- Make short speaker connector wires (5 PigTails) - made 2 so far
- TEST SPEAKER CONNECTIONS
- TEST ELECTRONICS CONNECTIONS
- Straighten the rope lights - 11/25
- Touch up the molding with caulk
- one more coat of paint on molding
- bring in the furniture - 11/25
- Get a Mattress for the Day-bed
- Move Trunk from Office (coffee table) - 11/25
- Reprogram Logitech Remote
- Put up pictures
- Clean up the work space in the Garage. - 11/25
