I had to post this on Lucy's Facebook Page...
Just a little note: On June 4th, 2012 - 9:52 am... Lucy passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was loved by all who knew her and even by those who hadn't even met her. Her Sister Dollie and Brother Foster miss her very much as do I. Her ashes will be spread at her Cache "Doggie Waaaaay Out" on Rich Mountain in the future.

Me - Annie: I put this on Lucy's' page, because she was still getting some friend requests and messages. I don't have the heart to shut her page down yet, but I know I will have to eventually.

Ava: It takes so long to adjust to them being gone. You never get over it. We all cried with you on that day. Such a special girl.
Me - Annie: I am still having a hard time with her being gone.
Ava: It hasn't been long at all. Just two months. It is a major life adjustment. She meant too much to you to you for it not to be.
Me - Annie: You are right. I still tear up whenever I see her picture. And she's still everywhere I look.

Sparc77: We will all miss Lucy. I would "like" this post, but somehow it just seems wrong to "like" these kinds of posts.
Allen: I miss her more than I would have thought, because in truth, the total time I spent with her over the years wasn't that much. So I can at least imagine how it must be for you.
