Update Post #3 - The Dogs...
They aren't that much trouble really. But at times they are. And they don't take that much of my time. But at time they do. Lately things have been pretty good. Their Health has been pretty stable, except for the weight gain. But since the food change (and Roses Visit - she is stingy with the treats) Lucy and Dollies Weight has gone down - 3 pounds for lucy and 4 for Dollie. I know this because we went to the Vet yesterday. Dollie for her Shots and Lucy to get her Nails dremeled (and for me to learn how to do it myself).
This is Lucy on Drugs... Just enough to take the edge off, so they could easily do her nails.
Dollie as you know has age related lung disease in the early stages. That's why she pants nearly all the time. That was diagnosed the first week in September. That is also when I found out she had gained 7 pounds since december 08. Now Lucy is having something going on with her Elbow...
I'm not sure what it is... but it looks like a cyst burst on her elbow. Or it could be a spider bite / scorpion sting. With all the rain, they have been migrating inside. So I don't know. I was able to clean it up with Hydrogen Peroxide, slather it with Neosporin and then bandage it up with a non stick pad and an ace wrap. (It's a pretty Purple).
And other than Foster waking me up in the middle of the night to let me know he was going to yak up a wad of material from his ropetoy... thats what going on with the Pups.
I didn't take a picture of Lucy's sore, I may to document it... but I don't think you need to see that. I'll let you know about the outcome though.
