Today's Todo's...
Well, I just completed one and am Heading upstairs to tackle the others.
I wanted to clean the laundry room. Not straighten it. But totally dismantle, scrub, straighten and re-mantle(?).
I do this about once a year. I probably should do it more often, but that's about as much as I can stand dealing with the dryer vent thing. Since I live with 3 dogs that constantly shed and that is their room too... It really needs a deep cleaning.
So I pulled the dryer out and cleaned behind and under it. I even cleaned the insides of the dryer. I got one of those lint trap cleaner brush things that you stick in the lint catcher. You spin it around and it breaks up the lint that's stuck in there. Then you stick this flat hose vacuum attachment thing on and suck it all out. well. I did that. I scrubbed the base boards behind there as well. I did the same with the washer. Then I pushed them both back in making sure all hoses were attached properly.
I also straightened up the 3 wire shelves that are about the W/D. The t-shirt rags were spread out way too much and there was no room for the dog towels. I also yesterday found 2 plastic containers that I could put all the laundry making materials into for storage. Today I went out in the garage and found the perfect size bin to put all these materials into so they could all be stored together. It's on the very top shelf completely out of the way... and that makes me happy.
I scrubbed down the water heater, the bi-fold doors, the floors and the entry door. OMG I can't believe that it gets so dirty... After the floors dried, I scrubbed the shower, the sink and then the toilet. This mother is done!
Now I'm going upstairs to scrub my hands and then make some Shrimp alfredo!
Then I'll do my bathroom. I'm gonna try to get rid of the dresser that's in there. So that means I'll be going through my clothes.
