They seem to be happy. The sick African Cichlid I had moved out of there into the small tank has recovered. He even looks better now that he's in this big tank again.
Lots of Hidey Holes for them to play in. There is a lot of chasing and territory crap going on. But they need to work it out themselves. I also fixed the output hose so it doesn't make any noise at all. It only took 2 years people. Will wonders never cease.
