2009 Lent Gratitude Journal - Day 34
For the time I have left here at VFB.
Today we got our W.A.R.N. letters. Basically saying that they are giving us a pre-60 day notice and that with in the next 60 days we will be receiving our final 60 day notice. I also received an email saying that FOL personnel will be coming April 20 for the beginning of knowledge transfer for my department. So, I should have till about July 1, then severance will begin.
It now has a date on it. That has been the biggest drag is not having a timeframe. Now the Clock is officially ticking. It is a relief. I know that sounds funny, but it's truly how I feel. Relieved. And of course grateful. My new life is right around the bend. And I am pretty excited to get it started.
Now I just have to find the time to look for a job. Kmart has been eating up my time and energy, but I will just have to git 'er done. No problem.
