2009 Lent Gratitude Journal - Day 33

Rainy Days...

No not Rainy days and Mondays... Just Rainy Days.

Rainy Days afford me the opportunity to get things done with no guilt whatsoever.  Stuff I've been putting off because it was just an indulgence... You know, me bowing down to my "whims"  or crazy hare-brained schemes.  I was able to start my "Art Project", fix some stuff I should have replaced, clean properly not surface clean (ie...vacuum under the bed, flip the mattress, etc), to organize and declutter.  You know...Stuff like that.

Rainy Days means for me...
  • no geocaching - I don't like toughing wet things... it eeks me out.
  • no yard work - duh!
  • no car washing (other than interior detailing)
  • no shopping -  I don't have any money to spend on that.
  • No walking the dogs - smelly wet dog and muddy feet ...need I say more

I refuse to clean my office on nice days.  I really prefer to do it on a rainy day.  I haven't done it yet, but then again it's supposed to rain a lot this week.  So there is still some time.  I just know that all that I did get done made me feel awesome.  Like I was moving forward - taking care of business.

I had a great weekend this last weekend.  I was able to get a lot done and still have some fun.   It was also a great way to start a week... and It still feels great halfway through the week   !Isn't that what it's all about.   I think so.

so Thanks for the Rainy Days.
