Only 2 more days left...

I decided not to go into work today.  One more day of Vacation.  I just couldn't see the point of going back for just one day.  So I ended up with 17.5 days of vacation.  I must say I definitely needed it.  But I am also glad to be getting back to work and a schedule.  My biggest mistake over this entire vacation is I slept in nearly everyday till 8:30am.  Which led to me just sitting around drinking coffee till around 10:30am.  Then finally getting around to what ever around Noon.

I wasted the biggest part of everyday.  But I have no regrets.  I obviously needed the structurelessness.  I have run my self ragged this year and I took this time to re-evaluate, rest, recuperate and rejuvenate.  I know what I need to take care of... My health, My finances and My home... everything else will fall in line.  Those are my goals.  Short and sweet.   I don't need a huge honking list to remind me of that and You don't need to be bored by one.

I haven't cleaned my office, but I did take care of some of the things that were piling up in there.  I didn't reformat my hard-drive.  I took Allen and Selector23's advice and cleaned it up some.  It has helped.  I took care of a couple projects that have been laying around for a while and I can't believe I waited so long.  I walked a bunch.  I spent a lot of time with my babies.  And I cleaned up some of the cabinets.  I did some work on the cars.  Spent time with friends.  Heck I even bought myself a pair of new shoes.  (Yes, another pair).  Got my hair and nails done.  Did a couple of puzzles.  Had a couple of fires in the fireplace.  Saw my parents for a couple of hours.  Started my way towards relieving some pain.  Made some calls I had been putting off for some time, just because.  Made my way down to IKEA and had the biggest $2.00 breakfast you have ever seen.  Did all the laundry in the house - sheets, towels, clothes, rugs, etc...  Got caught up on all the NCIS shows.  And slept in every morning.

Not a bad vacation.  Too bad it only comes once a year.

christmas, update, vacation, to-dones
