It kind of flew by in blur. Though it ended quite nicely.
I dropped off the dog cage at Greg's house for his new puppy. A beautiful 10 month black lab named Ophelia.
I then stopped by to see Krazy Kay and drop off the ceramic Hallmark gifts she loves so much. even made an appointment to get my hair done on Friday. Lucky me... Since my hair has returned to it's original pre - coumadin medication color and texture... I no longer have to have low-lights put in. She even said my grey isn't that bad anymore. So that's good news.
I met up with Jenny, Mike and Sammy (with foster) for our evening walk. Foster was having a bit of trouble. He was starting to hobble a little on the final lap. So we only did 4 and then headed home to meet up with Rose.
Rose came over for the Annual Take the puppies to Lanier Lights adventure. Usually Lisa Goes with us, but she had some prior commitments. So hopefully we can go later next week. (That would make the second part of the lanier lights twice thing). But Rose and I decided to go on thursday with the rest of the masses and I think we had a good time. Though they probably will not allow dogs next year ... And that would be my fault. I let Dollie goose one of the traffic mover/ flashlight wavers. As we were driving by, I steered the car a little to the center of the lane and she jumped up to the window and barked at the guy just as we drove past. He nearly pooped himself. I thought Rose was going to bust a gut she was laughing so hard. Then poor foster, who had positioned himself onto the armrest in the front seat... well his poor little back legs fell asleep. He's ok. He just needed to step all over rose and I in the front seat... while the car was moving.... to get them circulating again.
I stopped at McD's for 3 McDoubles for the babies and a coke for me. We then headed to the wonderful Lollis Creek extravaganza light display. Selector23 is not lying. It's Sick. I started laughing and hollering "NO WAY!!" when I saw the glow and continued while on the first pass bay. It is a total shock to see that out there off the beaten path. We turned around and drove back by... we picked out cool little display elements that we each liked and then headed home. We saw a couple more houses in sterling on the lake and stopped to admire them when all of a suddern I heard a rustle then a thud! Foster had fallen out of the window or he may have been trying to make a break for it. I don't know but I had to pull him out of christmas light display before I could get him back in the car.
We headed home to get comfy (into stinky britches) and plop in front of the tv to order a movie. We couldn't decide on anything so we watched stuff on HGTV and then went to bed. Foster of course headed to the guest room with Rose and I got Lucy and Dollie.
That was my day. Not a bad first day off. Hope tomorrow is just as good.
