Wow. It's done.
It' s definitely a let down. Not in a bad way, but in an anti-climatic kind of way.
I've been trying to locate a challenge I need to attain... and yeah there are a bunch out there. But one that is engaging but not so engulfing.
I think I'll start working on the caches around the house. Tough ones first. leave the 1 / 1's for a day that I'm really bored and need to get out of the house. That sounds like a plan I can work with right now. I kind of feel this bluesy cloud start to lift. Lets see if I can keep this momentum going... Hmmm what other positives can I gleen from this being over...
I really can just take some time to deal with the house and some projects. Though I plan to keep walking with Foster for as long as I can. I would hate to lose whatever stamina and strength I had built up this summer. Also a cache here and there can't be too bad.
I am going to focus mainly on finishing the 2 main projects that need to be done on the house... The door downstairs and the new roof. I know I won't be doing the actual work, but I will be pretty involved in the process of getting it done and watching those guys like a hawk. I would also like to get a handle on the hair tumbleweeds in the house. But now that I can't have Lucy shaved because of the Arthritus... the hair in the house is going out of control. Time to get serious. Once the door is in downstairs, I can keep the dogs downstairs when I'm not there. That should keep the majority of the mess down there. As well as help with the utility bills.
Well, seems I was able to turn this frown upside down and actually look forward to getting back to basics. It was a fun summer and I did more than I did last year. Now that summer vacation is officially over since Labor Day has passed, it's time to put my nose to the grindstone and get some important tasks done or to put it into Annie Speak - a list of to dos...
- Back door installed
- New roof
- get back on my no carb regimine - Now that I have some sort of exercise routine in the works
- start getting ready for christmas
- go see Grandma
- continue on my quest for organization and simplification with a side order of unclutterdom.
and you all thought we weren't going to get a list today... Ha Ha.
