#1507 and Final WRC.. Remember that boxerlady and I are #'s 7 and 8 in the state and also the first women to complete this ourselves. Other women have been part of a couple of the teams, but did not go to every cache that was on their grid... Laura and I Did. We climbed every mountain and signed every book ourselves.

Georgia's Well Rounded Cacher (Unknown Cache) What I did on my summer Vacation - - By Slayerette
On May 4th 2008 this cache piqued my interest and I decided to give it a go. Heck I was only 10 caches away... How Hard Could It be? A lot harder than I thought that's for sure. Searching out caches that I were out of my normal range (out of the state of GA), puzzles(which I hate), Mountains(which I love but too out of shape to climb) and in water(which I don't feel comfortable around).
I saw views and vistas, waterfalls and beaver dams, Flora and Fauna. I did things I haven't been able to do for a couple of years because of my health. I made new caching friends who are as challenge driven as I am (or maybe a little more). We set individual personal goals and reached them while cheering the others on.
This has truly been a journey. I have been able to begin the trek to getting my health back and I have regained my joy of caching. I now truly remember why I got into caching. It isn't lightpoles and Walmarts (if thats your thing then So be it)... It is challenging caches that take me to see something cool is my cake And any extra time I can spend in nature with the puppies is icing. I'm sure we all get different things from our WRC experience, but that is what I took away from it. The planning of cache trips with friends with A picnic afterwards and Laughter the entire time. Caching has become an Event for me like it used to be in the beginning. Thank you and the BoxerLady Team for that. I was hoping to get that feeling back and this cache delivered it for me.
I finished the qualifying stuff last weekend when we did the Mistletoed Cache, but I wanted to wait to come down here with my Buds. We had tackled this thing together, we should finish it the same way. As for the cache hunt itself, it was the usual trek for us three. Though today I was in the middle. since we didn't have a huge elevation change, I was able to keep a better pace. I seemed to miss a couple of the spider webs, boxerlady found them with her face. I told her if she had just sprayed the inside of her mouth with OFF like I did (on accident) she wouldn't have these problems. I suggest to all you kids at home not to do that with the OFF. The cache is brimming with signature items and a red jeep which I took, because it was getting a little packed.
Thank you for this cache I had a ball.
3 months; 10 Caches; 3 States; Several Mountains; Hundreds of Miles; 50+ ticks; countless ant bites; Gallons of water; barrels of sweat; fields of briars... and I couldn't be happier.
I wouldn't trade it for anything. I wonder what's in store for next summer.
The End.

Walk the Log (Multi-cache) Out here finishing up the WRC and decided to tackle this one. Nice pleasant hike to the cache. Sorry, I didn't walk the intended log (too Slippery) but did manage to walk one by the final that should count.
Thanks for the cache. #1509

GA WRC Bonus Cache (Unknown Cache) Yes there is a story to this one. First, we Me and the BoxerPoeple drove around and around contemplating the approach from a spot that really wasn't something we should do. Then the smarter one of the tree of us decided we should look just a little bit longer for a better way in... And HAAAAZZZZZAAAAAH!!! She was right. Then as we zero in on the area, we notice a cop hidden in a little driveway area (hiding from someone, something or taking a nap). We decide to pass him by, turn around and then let him know what we are doing. But first picking up a turtle from the middle of the road and moving him in the direction he was heading safely on the other side of the road.
While BoxerMan spoke to the copper copper crimestoppper, BoxerLady and I Headed towards the cache. I went in the wrong direction and had to climb back up to catch up with the other 2 who were zeroing in on the cache location. As I stood above watching them root around, what I didn't realize was... I was standing on an Ant hill. By the time I felt the first bite/sting, my legs were covered with a bazillion ants. I had just gone through this on Saturday and this time was even worse. I started beating on my legs to get the ones on the outside off. I peeled my boots off and beat them against a tree to get them all off of there. BoxerLady came running over from where she was and helped me smack myself where I couldn't reach. They were in my socks, up my pant legs and having a field day. We finally got them off and I muttled through the stings as I joined the search for the cache. We located the cache and as usual we worked as a team to retrieve it. We replaced it and started heading back to the car.
Boxerman headed to the copper copper crimestopper's lair to see what was what, while us girls headed back to the car. Where I immediately changed into my extra clothes I now bring on cache hunts... (just for these types of occasions). I put on a pair of shorts and merrells which made it easier to dress the stings/bites. I felt infinitely better. I liked the cache but hated it at the same time. Can you blame me?
Thanks for the cache.#1510

Forty-Four (Unknown Cache) I actually tagged along for this one today while down here doing the WRC final. Spent the walk to the cache looking out for ants (see previous post at WRC Bonus). We found GZ and quickly found it. The cache will probably need a new
"log"
soon.
We packed back into the car and headed to a nearby park for picnic lunch to cap off another wonderful caching adventure. Sorry not to crack on your caches or anything, but this is the best part of my caching experience... BoxerLady's tuna Fish Salad and Cheez-its, with an always fantastic baked good. I don't know what today's chocolate crumbly thingee was named, but I just call it Freakin' Good!
Then we made the Short(compared to some of the roadtrips we have had lately) jaunt home.
Thanks for the fun caches.
