Y'all know I don't really care about the century marks that much in geocaching. I only gave a hoot about #1000 because I was having so much fun wiht phat.bak... and I made my 1000th one of his. But I am sitting at the edge of another century mark and I'm not sure what to do. I just want to go out and get a bunch off the map by the house. It's irritating me. Because these last 100 caches leading to #1500 have been really special. Having just gotten off a bad last year (clot and bad health), this has been like a new beginning. I have made new friends with similar goals and have pushed myself to do caches that I used to overlook and climbed mountains I didn't think I could. Per the report I posted a couple of days ago, my difficulty and terrain averages have jumped considerably this year.
I wanted to do
Hot Dam! as my 1500th. It's a Trez Cache. it's not a 1/1. It is within 15 miles of the house. And I like the name. Because that's how I feel. While I was creating the link for it, I noticed the park is open till 10:00pm. I just may get it tonite after all. If not, I will make
City of Granite be my 1500th. So I guess I solved that dilemma. I not only solved it, I have a backup. Cool.
