Update on the HOA Check...
Well, it turned up. Seems I was right. I did mail it inadvertently. But my awesome mail carrier Mae, noticed it and put a stamp on it for me. And my HOA received it without any other incident.
I was pretty happy about that.
As for the HOA. I don't mind it too much. Now that I know that it may be illegal. And any changes made to the covenants are BS. The other neighbors don't know it. And the President knows I know it... Cause we heard it at the same time from the Lawyer...Which no longer is employed by the HOA.
I do what I like to my house. If they don't like it they can settle it with me in court and I will win.
What they do accomplish is to keep others in line. It's all about my bottom line. And they keep my property values in the positive.
Which would be could if houses would freakin' sell in the neighborhood.
Seems the house across the street has gone through foreclosure... Again.
