Christmas Organizational Idea...

Since I have to (because I want to) send a box of gifts to KC, because I am not going (again) up there for Christmas... I came up with an Idea that will help me get it done and not forget anything.
  1. write a list of everything that needs to go to KC
  2. pick up large shipping carton from work
  3. affix the list to the shipping carton

We send presents to California (3 different places, so 3 boxes) and I do the same thing. The only difference is I do not have a list, but I fill out all the gift tags (mine are peel off stickers on a sheet) and put that in the box. So the wrapped gift goes in the box the sticker tag goes on it and then I know who I have left to buy for and put in the box. It would be chaos if I did not have it all organized. I do not want stress and my favorite time of year. :)

I do make a list on the computer of all the gifts I buy during the year and where I put them in the house. My Christmas spreadsheet...sad but true. If I did not do that I would forget and double buy. :(
