Not a Spider bite...

It was a wasp sting.  I know this because they came after me again.  And I saw 'em!  So I went and got the wasp and hornet spray and nailed their eFFFFing bastard hides!  They were in the rafters of the deck.  As I was getting ready to leave the area I happened to see another wasp nest.  Not the black and red mean ass ones but some lighter ones.  And they were frozen still, watching me.  I thought I heard this little tiny voice say "Don't anybody move."  So I sprayed them too.  After being stung 2 times I had no compassion.  Die you little bastards.

Then I saw a carpenter bee scoot up a hole.

I want you to bask in my brilliance.  Because Only I could find a way to hit myself on the cheekbone with hammer.

Back to the carpenter bee...  I decide I have a system that works to get those pesky things out of their hole and I'm gonna employ it.  I get a hammer, start beating the side of the wood a little up from the hole...cause that's where they are, not by the hole you see.  I pound on it till the bee drops out of the hole hits the ground and I hit it with the hammer.  This works like a charm.... till... 2 start falling out.  While the first one is being flattened with the hammer, the other falls on top of my head and I now have a Bee in my hair...And it's pissed.  My hands start waving around trying to get it out and you guessed it ...BONK!  I hit the ground, another couple bees drop out of the hole and they are looking for a fight.  I start hastily crawling towards the house and trying to stand at the same time...It's was not an attract sight so please don't try to visualize it.  Big girls just shouldn't try to move like that.

I have given up the battle for today.  I did get a bunch of their brothern.  Probably about 7 before all the mayhem.  I do think they gave as good as they got.  So I think that fight was a split decision.

Flying Stinging insects - 2.5  ( 2 wasp stings and a hammer attack)
Annie - 2.5  (eliminated 2 wasp nests and killed 7 carpenter bees)

I know where they live and I have wood putty and caulk.

HAH!

accidents, bugs
