A Sorority.

No I didn't go thru rush.  As you can see, I'm still a little bitter.

Never really understood the urge to be a campus Greek.

Oh the actual terms are:

herd of pigs (if farm raised)
sounder of pigs (if wild).

but went to every Greek rush party for 2 years, chasing the 3 B's ... free Booze, Babes and Bongs!
Laissez les bon temps roulez! and Delta Tau Delta (DTD) put on the best parties, by far.

Collective nouns for pigs: a drift, team or herd of pigs; when a group is being moved they are a drove of pigs; young ones are a litter, a farrow of piglets, a sounder of wild pigs, a passel of hogs, a group of boars is singular.

Nope...Pigs.

Delta Tau Delta? We called them DaDitTaDas. And I was a little sister there, Kinda. I refused to ever be a party favor. And they did throw some awesome parties.

Don't sweat it. The TKE invited me to pledge and I went through a couple of weeks until they realized I was a veteran, then they told me I had to make a choice between them and my military fraternity, The Brotherhood of Gunners. Somehow serving on a B-52 nuclear combat crew meant a little more to me than a greek fraternity. They didn't like my choice.
