Between one thing and the other, Selina Kyle's been a very busy girl indeed. Work is more abundant than she had any right to expect, and Eddie's contacts have bloomed more contacts and all of a sudden her services have been in high demand. It's been almost a week since she's seen the sun-- if it weren't for Sunday coffee with Joan, she'd never get out during the day. (And Joan still hasn't heard anything about Holly, which Selina is very definitely not thinking about.)

So if there's an unexpected package on Judah Stark's doorstep containing five pounds of Uji green tea, well-- it seems a trifle impersonal, but she does mean well. There's a note attached and everything.

Things wind up at Arkham, too-- books for Eddie, and for Harvey. (If either of these are double-jacketed, that must be some sort of publisher error, mustn't it? And surely one couldn't be held responsible for, say, a random slip of tin foil found between those two jackets.)

Today, however, is for wandering the streets and sticking her nose into chic little boutiques and very specialized hardware shops. And for coffee. Delicious coffee. The sunlight is just starting that golden afternoon angle when she finds an outside table at a coffeeshop that's making a good case for the benefits of gentrification.

It's nice to be off your feet, isn't it?
