kidnapping

This is a kidnapping, really, which is exactly what he told Geoffrey it would be. It's an alibi. Go out to get food. Happen to walk through this park at this point in time. Eddie won't be concerned about the plan unless Geoffrey isn't here on time, and, really, he better be here on the dot ( Read more... )

Geoffrey lingers at a corner, checks his watch, then takes long strides. Careful timing, to land in the park exactly when he's expected. He wears a thick, heavy, ankle length fur coat. Black mink. Purple leather gloves. Purple scarf. Wintery days are nice when you're prepared for them.

Being kidnapped sounds terribly exciting, though he hopes it's brief. He worries about the asylum without him. Still, everyone needs some vacation time.

Eddie isn't even wearing that much green, except that his scarf is definitely that particular shade. His coat is black, sharp, and has been rather meticulously kept free of all manner of fuzz. His gloves and his hat are knit. Winter! Is awesome!

Hopefully Geoffrey doesn't expect chloroform or anything of the sort. Eddie simply... writes his way on over, at the right time, and will then continue to walk. If anyone nearby for the next few minutes really cared to read his trail, they might be able to decipher this particular part of the plan, but footprints vanish so quickly in a park, in the snow.

Ah, here comes Eddie. And...there goes Eddie. Hmm. Geoffrey can tell there's a design his friend is making, but not what that is. Not wanting it to be ruined by his own footprints, Geoffrey follows, putting his own feet in Eddie's prints.

This is an odd sort of kidnapping, indeed.

Eddie laughs. If Geoffrey's going to follow around like a duckling, the game goes from spelling things out to walking around in as odd a path as possible, for a few minutes, at least, as he meanders on out of the park.

There's a car there. Guess what color it is? Eddie hits the button on the key chain to unlock it. If Geoffrey doesn't get inside, maybe there'll be problems, huh?
