It was the third meeting of the heartbreak support group. The activity of the day was for each person to write the names of their exes onto balloons and release them into the sky. It was supposed to be a symbolic gesture that set the memory of their past free, and thereby freeing themselves in the present. However, Don, the Casanova, was unable to let go of his past. "They all mean so much to me," he said as he was carried higher and higher past the buildings. "I wish I had dated him," said a soft voice from the group as he disappeared in the glare of the rising sun.
