I'm going to attempt this blog without "should." Here goes!
So things have been absolutely crazy. I've finished a diploma in event mangement and I'm actually nervous about attending the graduation ceremony, no matter how little it will be. Worried they'll turn around and claim I haven't graduated at all.
Job searching clearly the next on my life's course. I have not been rostered on for two months (a long, unclear story which I shall not go into any detail on) and that's a pretty clear sign that full-time work will not be a given next year. This damn economy isn't helping us poor event managers in finding anything; companies are dropping corporate party plans left, right and centre.
And "super stars" keep demanding more money while shitty "news" sources spread these apparent rumours. I just wish
@KevinRuddPM could have spared a bit of his welfare handouts for singles and students. I mean, shit; I just happened to not give into temptation of having my first-born child just for the baby bonuses of the late government and this is what I get? Teenage girls who did leave school for the dough are now getting another $1000 for re-allocating their brains from academia to domestic life.
This is pissing me off something rotten.
Number of rather exciting web projects coming up, but I'm sick of just saying they're future projects. They start now, dammit. Planning can always be done even without cash in the bank.* I have my full name in .com and .net registered, however nothing is up there because I have a friend helping me out with the hosting. I will get that myself though; silly to have my name domain under someone else's control, isn't it? I'll also stop using a_lil_spaz or LM or whatever else I've used as my online nick one day. Heh. I'm going to stop treating the Internet like my dumping ground. The Internet is not a giant truck!
On the health front I'm getting outside more and going vegetarian this week for a good ol' detox. Too much trash over the weekend and I suspect I have lost a decent bit of weight due to being too lazy for a venture to the kitchen. Want to buy a bicycle too, one of those girly ones with a basket. Not really for exercise but it might just encourage me to skip taking the bus.
The most interesting thing that could be happening soon is that I could be moving house. Things have changed on a more personal level and three people in two bedrooms is no longer a practical option it once was twelve months ago, if you catch my drift. Hearts are all over the place and I'm still working out how to best get what I need without trampling on too many of these and remembering to do the laundry with minimal movement.
Narrabri for Christmas with the family. Rad. Just means no kick-arse Brisbane parties with mates until return mid-January though, but I can do a few weeks with a different environment.
Hope all reading are well and I apologise for leaving my blog/s for so long. I've just had other stuff on my mind and it is not a sin to be looking after yourself. God knows you've got to do it one day.
