Southbank rocks because classes for today have been cancelled save for the last two hour lesson. Which means my budgeting assignment is not due today, apparently. Good because I haven't written the report yet!
Work rocks. I actually look forward to coming to work for these reasons:
- My boss treats everyone like they're his partner in crime.
- Boss listens to my event and marketing ideas and actually wants to do them.
- Staff morale is fantastic.
- Boss is looking to do out-of-work activities, like "grabbing a table for dinner in the city" and the like.
- Times are changing. The company is changing. I'm going to have a freakin' sweet job in a few months if things go as planned and at this rate I won't be looking for a job at the end of my course in November. This is the big one.
Which leaves me wondering about Jensen Events. Have I done wrong by getting too excited early?
This weekend's plans/hopes:
- Friday: Work, Buddha's Birthday and swing dancing at Southbank, see cousin Karen.
- Saturday: Marketing assignment, buy birthday and mother's day gifts, Buddha's birthday, coffee and cake in the city with high school friends.
- Sunday: Study, hit the pub for a mate's birthday.
- Monday: Public holiday = woot! Marketing assignment, In-house functions assignment and then some.
Shit, Mando Diao is awesome. Want to dye my hair or start wearing make-up or wearing different clothes or something. My appearance is too boring. Oh, and I've probably gained weight this week. Goddammit.
Off to locate bathroom scales. Cheerio, mateys!
EDIT: Was wrong! Weight okay, if not lost a kilo or two. OCD, much?
