A new TV season
Wow. Where did I go? I guess the start of school and the end of the federal fiscal year just sort of kicked my butt. Last weekend, we drove to NC for my cousin's wedding which was held at an aquarium and got my kids' vote for best wedding locale. It was pretty cool to eat and dance in a room with a big shark tank.
But due to the wedding, I am already behind in my DVR/TV watching. I am trying out a few new shows but I'm not really convinced about most of them yet. Partners and The New Normal both seem just sort of eh. I watched the first episode of Made in Jersey and decided that it wasn't as bad as the critics said, but would probably fit just fine on a cable network, like TNT or USA or something. I like Go On, thus far. That may be the extent of my new shows so far. I loved the premiere of Revenge, and I am happy to have new HIMYM, TBBT, and M&M back on my TV. I am still watching Glee and Private Practice, but I still am not quite sure why. I am behind on the premieres of Grey's, TGW, H50 and The Mentalist (see what happens when you have a weekend away!), which is not so good. Bones and Modern Family both came back pretty well, I think. Do you think I am watching enough? I'd like to see some other shows, but I just can't seem to find the time, or the DVR space since J has his own list of shows that he watches, and many of them overlap time period-wise with the shows I watch. We are such TV junkies.
