Side benefits
So, I think the best part of this John Carter movie (which I probably won't see for months given how often I get to movies) is the fact that Taylor Kitsch is showing up on all these talk shows to promote it. He is just still so pretty. Not the same hair any more, but still so pretty. And I love that someone at the Live! with Kelly show had a Texas Forever sign. Maybe it's because I've been reading so much FNL fic lately (how did I miss that Tim/Julie was such a rampant ship? I thought it was sort of secondary for people.), but it is making me very nostalgic.
On a quasi-related note, I continue to be pleased to see the FNL folks working. Jason Street is still so damn nice on Hart of Dixie (sidebar: If Zoey really changes her name, what would the show do? So not going to happen, right?), and now I hear that Aimee Teagarden has gotten a pilot on the CW for next fall. I hope it gets picked up. More FNL alumni on my TV, stat!
