An android created to entertain the masses with her voice, Rin is an outgoing, slightly pushy, good-natured girl around Lucas's age. Their relationship languished in the state between 'acquaintance' and 'friend' for some time until Lucas found himself paired with Rin for the annual 'Summer Loving' event. After an intimate conversation and a few surprising revelations coming from both sides (Lucas blames his loss of discretion to the late hour), he somehow feels much closer to the girl than he did before.
Even prior to that time, though, the two had already shared a somewhat arbitrary connection. The knowledge of what it meant to be a twin was something unique, something that few would be able to understand intuitively. If he could tell anyone in town about what happened between him and Claus, it would be Rin. In recent times, he finds himself blushing often when speaking to the Vocaloid; he fears he knows exactly what this portends...
