Earthbound
A boy from Onett. Aroused one night by the impact of a meteorite on the hill outside of his hometown, Ness was called forth on a grand adventure to combat the alien entity Giygas with his latent PSI power and the help of his good friends, Paula, Jeff, and Poo. And, of course, the power of love and prayers. ...That's the story he saw in New Pork City, at least.
Since the two first met, Lucas has felt a strange connection with the other psychic boy that extends beyond shared powers or shared enemies. There is the sense, somehow, that they are two halves of a whole, the prologue and the epilogue to the same story. What Ness started, Lucas saw to its conclusion. Despite barely knowing the boy, he feels he knows at least one thing for certain - he can rely on Ness with his life and he won't be let down. Apparently, Ness feels the same way, having made an open declaration of affection that earned Lucas's friendship early on. Ness's outgoing and assertive nature has inspired no little of admiration as well.
You're not alone! You have so many people here who care about you! You can never be alone. There are people here who need you! Because they want you as their friend... We can fight this. Together.
