"Who will be the first to begin their fall?"
So, Dan and I just had out two year anniversary, which, for us, was a pretty big deal. I was planning for this for like, a month, and it was definitely a lot of fun. We went out to eat at some place called the Melting Pot. My sister and Dave got us a gift certificate for there for Christmas, so we thought we might as well go there. We tried to find some really fancy places downtown, but they were either really trendy places (which I definitely did not want) or they had disgusting food. So, to the Melting Pot we went. It was ok. I mean, it was good, but it was definitely not what i was expecting. My sister said it was going to be all romantic and it was a nice, classy place and all that jazz...unfortunately it was about the same inside as you'd see in an outback, and we were totally overdressed. Whatever
After all that, we went to the Westin in Rosemont and spent a night there. That was definitely a lot of fun.
The best part of all of this, however, was the channel-set princess and baguette diamond ring Dan got me (an engaged to be engaged ring, apparently)...Definitely the topper of the weekend.
Okeyday, I'm-a got make my man some of my mother's patented mushroom beef stew. Hoozah.
