For anyone wondering how they can not be involved in this, just have your character dodge the initial flood. Dealing with the floating spheres afterward will be part of the warzone situation, but this is NOT a mandatory plot. Handwave your character avoiding the flood if needed, whether by chance or supernatural means.

If anyone wants an IC reason to avoid the madness and have their character stay relatively safe, the superheroes' safehouse is magically warded by Billy to keep threats out, we figure it can probably keep at least most of the black blood at bay. The capes will put up a network post when everything starts going down and offer shelter to everyone who wants it. At least some of them will probably also be guarding it from spheres and stuff, too.

Lovely, if the capes are offering refuge, we can add them to the overall week end plot post. Maybe a log for those in hiding?

We've got an open location log right here for the entire week, but we could also throw up a new log specifically for when everything starts happening, whichever you think would work better.~

In what manner? Getting temporarily infected or getting a permanent case of the Black Bloods?

Permanent Black Bloods. 83

Wonderful!

I would discuss further, but I'm just popping off for dinner and we can hash out some ideas later.

Mal! Mal!

I want to be a horrible person and give Homura black blood. Is this okay?

By which I mean, it is totally okay.

Any thoughts of how you're gonna handle it, in the 'what will be tempting her to use it' way and 'what will it do for her' way? I know you know your soul eating, so just curious.

Would the black blood thing work with someone who has neon yellow goop instead of blood? Hypothetically speaking?

strongestcoward January 17 2012, 21:33:35 UTC
Considering that it can both replace someone's entire blood supply and be made into living beings, I'd say yes. It's pretty crazy stuff.

Yeah, that's what I suspected. In that case, I'd like to get Davesprite infected if it's okay.

That is totally okay, also awesome and encouraged.

Okay, I don't know how familiar you are with Soul Eater, but the basic things to think about once Davesprite are what it will give him to tempt him (which can be as simple as it making him feel great, or as elaborate as a second personality that talks to him/a devil on his shoulder/etc.) and what exactly the powers it will give him would be (which can be as simple as giving him a bunch of arms with giant swords or as elaborate as making an army of crows made from metal blood or something ridiculous like that). So, yeah, sky is the limit basically.
