Then she sat up and turned her head in one movement, searching for the source of the flicker in her mind, the feeling of control flowing into her veins as though someone just shot her full of it. It didn't make sense that that feeling was there. It only came in the town or in F3... or in the presence of one of the monsters.
It had been a bad time to give her a taste of the darkness. Nightmares. Dreams. It lacked the real jolt, the dangerous tang of the creatures she was used to, but there was something similar to that. It reminded her enough of home that her heart hardened, her eyes narrowing, her muscles getting taut with expectation.
"Come out. Now."

Alessa would quickly notice that, although she looked human, she definitely wasn't quite human. Being literally black and white would do that. Plus, the dark energy around her.
This was not a very happy dream. Not quite a nightmare; she could always be handled, and didn't even pretend to be a threat, but not a happy dream either.
And until you ask her to say something, she's not making a peep.

It was actually sort of soothing. She held out a hand, gesturing the strange dream girl closer.
"Who're you?"

Huh. That would explain how familiar she felt.
Alessa tried to ignore the urge to change the girl. To make her a monster under her own control. She craved the power and simplicity she had at home, even if it was painful. She was only just feeling the complexity of her new life and how powerless she was here.
She patted the grass next to her, gesturing for the girl to sit. She didn't quite know what she wanted to do, what she wanted to happen--this timid girl didn't exactly seem to be a playmate, independent in and of herself, and her newly strengthened compassion was squirming a little at the dark, controlling thoughts in her mind--so she tried to do what Sasha would do.
"What should I call you?"

But with Alessa, she didn't want to risk it. Best to stay as dependent on her as possible, lest she make her angry. Though, it was now she realized through her that this wasn't actually HER dreamer. And yet, she felt, and kind of looked, a lot like her. Not exactly, but enough.
Her name? "What...whatever you want...Do not have a name." Well, not one given to her by anyone, anyway. She's just gonna keep her own name to herself.

It made it easier to think of her as immaterial, but Alessa pushed the thought back. A name didn't make a person. "I don't really know what to call you. Do you want me to think of a name?"
She could think of a few names. Opal, Fay, Eloise, Constance... old names that bounced in her heads. She didn't know what would fit the dream girl, though.

She fought with herself, trying to decide if telling her what she had chosen for herself was safe to do, and finally thought of a round-about way of doing so... "Could...could make a suggestion? Um... if, it's OK..."

She leans forward, tilting her head, her eyes narrowing curiously.
"What do you mean when you say you're a dream?"

"I know you're not a nightmare. I know nightmares. I'm not going to hurt you."
