And my dreams it's never quiet as it seems

Who: Alessa Gillespie and Monoko
When: Tuesday
Where: Biodome
Summary: Alessa's just off having fun when she runs into a strange girl that reminds her distinctly of home. Of a world made of nightmares dragged into reality. A world she controlled after years of never having any control over anything. It tickles her interest in dark places...
Rating: PG-13 at most
Warnings: Crazy talk of dreams and stuff. Possible references of violence and child abuse since it's Alessa and Monoko.

Alessa was happy just lying in the grass, staring at the artificial sky, thinking. She usually avoided thinking too hard. Her thoughts were always very dark and depressing, especially when she was alone. But she wanted to be away from her family so she could think--think about the presence of two Shepherd's Glen people.

Being with Sasha clouded her thoughts a lot. She was a slave to his approval. She adored him and always would, but she couldn't compromise his ideas of nonviolence and the pursuit of happiness and her brutal upbringing, coupled with her own ruthlessness. It had been easier to bury that, to hide the darkness in her heart back in the beginning when she hadn't really planned on being here for long, but a charade like that can't be kept up forever. And yet Sasha still insisted he loved her. Moreso, Eddie and Sollux and Feferi and Lili still insisted on her being family.

So it was really difficult to decide how she felt about Elle and Alex. Reminders of what she is, what she should do. What she does gladly. Did her family really understand how vicious she was? Did they care?

The thoughts haunted her.
